Refund policy

1. Overview
- We want you to love your purchase. If you’re not satisfied, we accept returns and exchanges under the terms below.

2. Return window
- Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery. Exchanges accepted within 14 days of delivery.

3. Eligibility
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, free of odors, and with original tags and packaging attached.
- Shoes must be returned in original shoebox inside a shipping box.
- Final-sale items (clearance, marked “Final Sale”) are not eligible for return or exchange.

 4. How to start a return or exchange

- Email 2generationsboutiquemn@gmail.com (or use the returns portal) with your order number, item(s) to return, and reason. We will send a return authorization and instructions.

5. Refunds
- Refunds issued to in store credit within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the return. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or we made an error.
- If you paid with store credit or gift card, refunds will be returned as store credit.

6. Exchanges
- For exchanges (size/color), request an exchange when starting the return. If the new item is in stock, we will ship it after we receive the original item; expedited exchange available for a fee when possible.

7. Return shipping & costs
- Customers pay return shipping unless:
- The item is faulty, damaged, or we shipped the wrong item — in which case we provide a prepaid return label.
- We recommend using tracked shipping; we are not responsible for lost return packages unless a prepaid label is provided.

8. Faulty or incorrect items
- Inspect your order on arrival and report any defects, damage, or wrong items within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement, full refund, or store credit and cover return shipping.

9. Gift returns
- Gifts may be returned for store credit if eligible. To process a return, provide the order number or gift receipt when possible.

10. Processing time
- We process returns within 3–7 business days of receipt and will notify you by email once complete.
